Case Number 15

A young child, 7 years old, presents at hospital unconscious. Her mother said that she was with chicken pox (varicella) one week before. She said too that she gave some pills of aspirin (salycilates) to her daughter to treat the fever.

After four days, Her daugther presented with somnolence, confusion, incurrent vomit and delirium. Neck stiffnes, Laseg, Kernig and Brudizinki were all negative. There were pleomorphical vesicles spreding of all parts of her body, showing illnes in course. According to this history, What is the probable diagnosis ?

a. Encefalitis by HZV
b. Meningitis.
c. Reye's Syndrome.
d Anaphilatic shock.
e None.
