Caso 26 Mulher de 40 anos com diagnóstico de asma brônquica há cerca de 10 anos e fazendo uso de predinisona 0,5 mg/Kg há vários anos pois, sempre que se tentava
retirar o corticóide por via oral a paciente apresentava piora dos sintomas a despeito da administração de corticóide inalatório, ß2-agonista e xantina.

Caso 25 - Paciente masculino 52 anos, queixando-se de cefaléia, nauseas, vômitos e mialgia de início há poucas horas e associados a febre. (A 52 year old male patient complaining of nausea, vomiting, fever, headache, and myalgia of sudden onset.)

Case 6 - This is a cardiac MRI of a 59 yo male patient. He have had an extensive anterior myocardial infarction 5 months earlier and is now with pharmacological treatment in NYHA class II. His ECG reveals a ST segment elevation at rest in precordial leads

Case 5 - These CT scans(head, neck and thorax) are from a 42 yo male patient. He presented to the emergency room with a 10 day history of pharyngitis associated with progressive dysphagia. His temperature was 38ºC and marked tenderness was noted over the entire neck.

Case 1 - This is a 28 yo female patient with Acquired Imune Deficiency Syndrome(AIDS) of two years duration. At this time she has a CD4 lymphocyte count of 198 cells/mm3. Some weeks before she developed a disseminated Hespes Zoster infection.
